Halloween 2011

This Halloween was a lot of fun.  It snuck up on me a little bit...I think I was worried about Aubrey.  Last year, the day before Halloween, she broke her leg coming down the stairs.  I know how unlikely it would be for her to do it again, but since it happened at such a memorable time, it will probably always stay with me.  

We had a great time trick-or-treating! On Halloween afternoon, we headed to downtown Tyrone with our friends Corrie, Peyton, and Parker.  Tyrone is such a great town! All of the businesses are open for trick-or-treating and are so nice and welcoming.  After trick-or-treating, they have a festival of sorts at Shamrock Park.  It has all kinds of booths, jumping houses, and things to do....plus, it's free!! You can't beat that! We didn't go to the festival this year, we just went trick-or-treating, but had a blast doing so and we, I mean, the kids racked up on candy!!

After we went trick-or-treating around Tyrone, we headed over to Brandon and Corrie's neighborhood to do the normal night trick-or-treating.  Chad and Christi were also there with Lorelei and Genevieve.  All the kids rode in wagons, pulled by their wonderful fathers :-)  All in all, it was a great night for the kids as well as the parents.
