Growing Up

A couple of weekends ago, Caroline got to experience her first sleepover.  She was beyond excited! It was one of her friends that attends Trinity, Luci.  Her family also goes to our church and her dad works at Chick-fil-a, so we know them pretty good.  She was trying to pack for two weeks up until the party.  Even the morning of, she wanted to take all of her things with her to school.  She didn't understand that she had to come home from school before she was able to go to their house.  We arrived and the house was buzzing! There were 9 other girls also spending the night! Caroline never looked back.  She ran in and started joining in the fun!  She really seemed to have a great time! They played outside, did crafts, made jewelry, ate pizza, and watched a movie.  After we left her there, Aubrey kept asking for us to go back and pick her up, but we took her to eat at Applebee's where she watched "the boys" play water polo on TV (that's a whole different post) and then we went to Sam's, and that made everything better.  The next morning, Luci's parents took the girls to chick-fil-a for breakfast and we picked her up.  Her mom sent out some pictures of the girls that I've shared below.  I'm just waiting now for her to begin asking for her own sleepover party for her birthday in December!!

The girls playing Simon Says.

Getting ready to watch Cinderella.
