Cooking with Caroline

Caroline and I got to spend some quality time yesterday while Aubrey was taking a nap.  Caroline is very excited about Valentine's Day.  I think she's really excited about the candy and cookies!  Yesterday, we decided to go ahead and make Valentine's Day cookies.  We had a really good time! Caroline did most of the work. (Other than the measuring)
Although we don't know exactly how to pronounce the brand name...we LOVE it!

Nothing says Valentine's Day like Mickey Mouse cookies!
Also, Andrew is growing and moving!!  I think he is ready to make his debut pretty soon!  I'm now 30 weeks and it feels like I've been 30 weeks forever!!  I'm hoping that the next few weeks pass by faster than the past few.  We have finally decided on a middle name.  His full name will be Andrew Ryan Franklin.  His room is ready and Caroline is so excited.  She asks me almost daily how much longer until Andrew is here.  She knows the months January through April because we repeat them so much! Now if we can just get May through December down, we will be set!  Caroline is also very worried about the fact that we do not have a carseat in the car for Andrew.  She so excited it cracks me up.  I thought she would be excited, but I'm really surprised by the amount of excitement that she has.  Aubrey on the other hand, I think, doesn't have a clue what's about to happen.  She loves to pat my belly and say "baby" and "Andrew", but other than that, she's not going to be too happy when her mommy has other "people" to tend to!

We have also decided that Caroline will be starting Pre-K in the fall.  We had originally planned on sending her to Chick-fil-a's Pre-K for a year before she starts Kindergarten, but when we began looking around for Kindergarten options, we found a Pre-K that we really liked.  It's a half day school which is nice because Caroline really wants to be home with Aubrey and Andrew.  Caroline and Aubrey have been playing so well together, I hate to take them away from each other for the entire day.  We did have to apply, so we will hopefully find out within the next month if we have been accepted.

I know there's more to share, but I can't remember any of it, so I'll just blame it on pregnancy brain and write more later :-)
