Valentine's Day, Daddy/Daughter Night, and Accomplishments

In February, Brian took the kids to Chick-fil-a's Daddy/Daughter night.  Andrew had to tag along because I had a previous commitment at church that I had to do.

Andrew was quite busy this month.  After learning how to pull himself to a stand, he decided he was ready to crawl.  It was amazing in the fact that he really seemed to have no interest whatsoever in crawling.  Then all of a sudden, he decided he was ready and took off.  It's tough keeping up with this boy!

During Valentine's Day, Brian was out of town for Seminar for Chick-fil-a, so my parents came over to hang out with us and took the girls (and me) to get cupcakes.  They were super yummy and quite large.

My Baby's Blues

My little Andrew has the bluest eyes.  I captured them one day while he was making a mess in his high chair.

The Month of January in a Nutshell

So I haven't forgotten about blogging, I've just had issues.  As most of you know, I'm a picture freak.  I take anywhere from 600 to 1000 pictures a month.  I try to narrow them down on here, but I don't always do a good job, so towards the end of the year I had run out of space.  I had to go back and delete some pictures I didn't use in order to make more room.  So, with all that said, I'm back up for at least a little while longer, then I'll figure out something else.  In order to catch up, this is my January sum up.  It's a random assortment of things that we did in January.

We went to visit Brian at work and his boss wanted to hold him, and Andrew wouldn't let go of his tie

Christmas (Part 2)

We left for Alabama the Friday before Christmas.  We made a stop in Birmingham to see Brian's grandfather from Indiana, who was visiting with Brian's aunt and uncle.  Brian's cousin, Amanda, was there as well with her 3 year old daughter and 9 month old son.  Aubrey and Caroline had a great time playing with Leah! It was a great visit and a lot of fun catching up!  After we left Birmingham, we headed up to Hartselle to see my family.  My niece, Margaret, was already there and my sister came shortly thereafter, and Trent soon followed.  The girls were thrilled to see each other and of course, had to go on an "adventure" as soon as we got there!  We are not always sure what their "adventures" entail, but we do know it involves, rain boots, sun hats, and backpacks.

The rest of the week was very nice and relaxing! We celebrated Christmas Eve by opening presents from each other and the kids getting their gifts from Grana and Papa.  On Christmas Day my aunt, uncle, and cousins came out to Grana and Papa's house to eat and exchange our "mystery" gifts.  We all draw names for gifts for each other.  It was a great afternoon! I always enjoy spending holidays with family!

The rest of the week was very relaxing, which was nice! We had good food and it was so nice just to talk, play games, and eat :-) The boys were suppose to go quail hunting on that Monday, but it was too rainy, so maybe next time!
