This weekend, my sister and her daughter, Margaret Clay, came to visit. Of course, anytime we get the cousins together, we have our cameras armed and ready. We loaded up Saturday morning in the van and headed to The Rock, Georgia to go to The Rock Ranch. I look forward to this weekend as much as the kids do. They have so many fun things to do and good food. Plus, it's fairly decent in price. I was super excited that Amy and Margaret were able to come because the girls always have so much fun when they get together.
When we got there, the girls took off full steam ahead. We strolled around the pumpkin patch looking for a pumpkin we might take home. After the pumpkin patch, we hopped on the tractor wagon to head over to the area where all the activities are. We headed straight to Tiny Town. It's a small town made of different buildings that are all kid size. There is a general store, a courthouse, a jail, a firehouse, a church, and a school. There are more, I just can't remember them all. The girls loved running from house to house seeing what they had in each one. After we finished with Tiny Town, we headed over to the race track. Brian drove the three girls around the track a few times. It was funny watching him drive all the squealing girls around and around on the track. You could hear them no matter where they were on the track. After the track, went for a ride on the cow train. I say train because I'm not too sure what to call it. It's really individual cars pulled by a lawn mower. Whatever it's called, it's so much fun. The girls giggled and laughed the whole ride. We headed up to "The Chuck Wagon" to grab some lunch. Brian and I got Philly Cheese Steaks while the girls got corndogs. The cheese steaks were really yummy! After we were recharged, we decided to ride the train, so our stomachs could settle a little bit before doing any "serious" activity. Aubrey loved the train ride. She looked out the window the entire time laughing and giggling. After the train ride, the girls jumped in one of the jump houses and played on the playground for a little while. Then, they went on the potato sack slide and the corn kernel house. We wrapped things up by jumping on the giant pillow and snapping some photos before heading back to the car.
When we got home, all went down for a nap. It was a great time, but all the kiddos were worn out!
