Last Blog Before Baby

Why is it so difficult for me to blog?  Really? I love reading blogs and keeping up with my friends, but when it comes to my life...first of all, when do I do it? and secondly, what do I say?  So...since it has been since February since I last wrote, you would think there is a lot to catch up on, not really :-)  The girls are so funny and silly and I absolutely LOVE listening to them play in the morning after breakfast.  Caroline has turned into such a mother of Aubrey lately.  I find her saying the same phrases that I say to them, which is much funnier coming from a 4 year old.

We did get some exciting news in March.  Caroline will be attending Trinity Christian School for their Pre-K program beginning in August.  She is quite excited about it and I am too!  I know she has loved staying at home with Aubrey and with me, but I know she will enjoy playing with some kids her own age.  Aubrey and Caroline fight like normal siblings, but everyday I am amazed at how well they get along.  Caroline is so patient with Aubrey because many times Aubrey is dominating the playtime.  I constantly hear, "Boo Boo, let's make hot chocolate." Followed by Aubrey's sweet, "No."  So Caroline just comes up with something else until she can find something for them to do together.  Don't get me wrong, they argue, but I'm just loving watching the sister bond that I know they will carry on for years to come as sisters.

The biggest thing in our lives right now is just waiting on Andrew to make his presence.  I'm 39 weeks right now, so it's been a waiting game.  At 37 weeks, I was already 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced, but that hasn't mattered any. I haven't made any progress since then.  I go back in to the doctor tomorrow for another ultrasound to measure how big he is.  I had one done at 36 weeks and he was measuring 7lbs. 2oz.  so he's on the large size.  (according to the ultrasound)  I'm anxious to see how big they believe he is at this point.  Caroline did inform us tonight that he's coming tomorrow.  I'll be interested to see if she's right.  She predicted the boy from the beginning, so maybe she is a baby whisperer.

I will definitely blog after Andrew is born...which hopefully will be in the next couple of days.  Brian and I are both ready to see him and to see what he looks like.  We saw lots of hair in the last ultrasound, so we'll see if he matches or beats Aubrey's hair at birth.  I've decided to post pictures of the girls when they were born.  I thought it would be fun to look at the differences in them because people always ask if Caroline had as much hair, which she did not....she was bald for the first 2 years of her life!!
